Australian Freestyle Motocross star Josh Sheehan has continued his current winning form in the IFMXF Night of the Jumps 2011 with yet another win in Munich, Germany on Saturday night, which takes his tally to four consecutive wins, one away from the record of 5 consecutive wins held by Remi Bizouard in 2009.

The Carlton Dry Honda FMX team and Valyside Apparel rider, Sheehan dominated the Munich round after qualifying in first place and then taking out the Best Whip competition with his trademark upside-down whips on the 450cc machine.

During the two-minute final Freestyle run, Josh stuck to his formula of tricks which included the Ruler Backflip, Seat Grab Indy flip, 360 Heelclicker and Lazy boy flips which proved to be unbeatable again this week.

In his debut full season, Sheehan has made a perfect introduction to the Night of the Jumps with 4 consecutive wins. Currently Josh is equal on consecutive wins with Ailo Gaup (2007) and Remi Bizouard (2008) with 4 wins in a row. If he wins at the next World Championship round in the Penza, Russia, Josh will hold equal longest winning streak with Remi Bizouard (2009) on 5 consecutive wins.

“I am really happy with my form in IFMXF against such a strong field of riders. Each week the other riders push me when I see their runs, so I have to do my very best to try keep at the top” Sheehan said.

Josh Sheehan is now preparing for Las Vegas this weekend where he is to perform a ‘World First’ in a special 3D Launch of Nitro Circus Live tour before continuing on the IFMXF World Championships on June 18/19 in Penza, Russia.

Josh Sheehan is supported by Carlton Dry Honda racing team, Valyside Apparel, Dragon and DEFT gloves.
